Okay, I have to go on record here and say my favorite place to go is Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. It is a magical place to me. There are at least 4 waterfalls there and a little island with a mountain and there’s horses, and buffalo, and two windmills, and a merry go round, and there’s pengiuns, slides, jungle gyms, swings, drum circles, an art studio, great places to have a romantic picnic, I could go on and on. My point is that it an amazing place and I treasure it. We go there at least 3 times a week.
In a city that is overcrowded and to expensive it is the best escape.
If I ever moved from San Francisco it would be the place I would miss the most.

Getting inspired by others work

December 5th, 2009

This morning I have been surfing the net and came across to really cool sites that are about eco-friendly fashion.

One is The Uniform Project It is about 1 dress. 365 days. An experiment in Fashion Philanthropy. It is amazing and it’s for good cause. The creator, Sheena Matheiken, is raising money to help put kids through school.

You must check it out! I watched the video and looked through the many pictures and I am beside myself with all the cool looks she has created from donated materials. Makes me feel inspired to go through my accessories bin and go buy  a pair of black legging and an oversized black shirt(used or sustainable of course) and make it my new uniform ; )

The other site I came across that I really like is about doing eco-friendly weddings it is called Eco-Beautiful Weddings. I love their site, beautiful. Looks like they are just getting started but I can’t wait to see what they do .

Love getting inspiration from others!
