Once I became a mom my whole life changed. Including my career path. Being a non tech person I never would have imagined I would have taken to tech like a duck to water(due to touch screen technology)
I created the brand Mom Maps, a family friendly app that uses GPS to find kid friendly locations. From that experience Moms with Apps was born, started with 4 moms making apps and grew into a worldwide group of over 1200 app developers.
I am deeply interested in how technology can improve relationships and help communities, especially under-served ones. I believe we have barely scratched the surface of all the amazing things that can be accomplished through social media and/or mobile technology.
My background is Psychology, Art, and Advertising, I have found my calling in combining those three and making some great things happen.

Hi. Thanks for the Twitter follow. Have a look at my site–cute, eco-friendly tees that feature inspiring athletic wildlife. Necklaces, too, and coming soon a beautiful coloring book made of 100% recycled paper. There’s a Fauna Extreme fan page on FaceBook, too. Become a fan!
Thanks. Take care.

Hi!
Great ideas !
It’s a good idea to remember to be HEALTHY Green – i.e., to do our best to use products that have positive impacts on the energy of our kids! Healthy/Non toxic trumps everything!

Depending on how much time you have before hand, you could make your own prtcodus! If you have old scraps of material (such as tshirts etc.) you could make and sew bean bags (like the kind you toss) and fill with beans or rice. Then you could write things like GO GREEN! or something on them with fabric marker. T-shirts don’t have to be expensive, you can buy cheap bulk shirts and decorate them yourself, but it could get expensive if you did various sizes. If you wanted to buy and decorate something, I would suggest buying and decorating reusable shopping bags. That way, they could use them instead of taking plastic bags from the store! You could also do fun things for younger kids, like reuse water bottles and fill them with pebbles or rice to make noise makers, and decorating them with ribbons and messages and your school colors. Hope this helps! The possibilities are endless!
